Data from the 2007 National Diabetes Fact Sheet (the most recent year for which data is available) indicates 23.6 million children and adults in the United States (7.8% of the nation’s population) have diabetes. Less than 40% have it under control.

At OSF Holy Family Medical Center, we understand how difficult this disease is to control and understand. That’s why we are offering three different classes to assist you with your health management.
Know Your Numbers - Understanding these numbers helps avoid the complications of diabetes.
Know Your Nutrition - Teaches you how to make wise choices for better blood sugar control.
Know Your Resistance - Addresses the metabolic syndrome that is closely linked to diabetes.
Classes are held on Tuesdays at OSF Holy Family Medical Center. Please see the dates and class schedule below. Times and location will vary per class.
