Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a first aid technique that combines chest compressions and rescue breathing. It can save lives when someone's breathing or heartbeat has stopped because of heart attack, near drowning or other emergencies.
Although emergency medical professional are trained in CPR, many lay people would like to have that same opportunity. Here at OSF Holy Family Medical Center we can provide you with the training you are looking for whether you are a lay person or healthcare provider looking for recertification.
Classes are set-up on a monthly basis. Class dates and times vary month to month, but are always offered in the evening. There is a class minimum of 4 with a class maximum of 12. There is a fee of $20.00 which is nonrefundable.
