Continue to live in your own home with the help of OSF Holy Family Medical Center Lifeline Services. Lifeline is a personal response system, which provides immediate access to emergency assistance. Lifeline gives you the confidence and freedom to live on your own. Because there is always someone standing by to help whenever you need it - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at the press of a button. If you need help, you simply press your lightweight; waterproof help button to activate a small in-home unit called a communicator. It puts you in touch with a caring Lifeline Monitor who talks to you to find out what kind of help you need. If you do need help, we'll call the right kind of help for you. It may mean dispatching an ambulance or simply asking your neighbor or a relative to look in on you. Your health and well being is our only concern.
