Galesburg Clinic in Discussions to Join OSF Healthcare System
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
March 31, 2010
Galesburg Clinic in Discussions to Join OSF Healthcare System
Today, leadership at Galesburg Clinic informed their employees that they are in discussions with representatives of OSF Healthcare System about joining OSF. Because of the confidentiality agreements both organizations have signed, we can only confirm that there is interest by both parties to pursue the feasibility of the Galesburg Clinic to transition to OSF.
A time-table will be sketched out for both parties to further study the benefits of such a relationship and that will be shared with employees of both organizations. Until then, we will not have any additional statements to pass along.
No changes are expected for either the patients or the staff as most of the practices currently followed will continue.
Galesburg Clinic
has been caring for families for the past 70 years. Their mission is
to provide the highest quality patient care by meeting the needs of
their patients, their employees, and their health care providers.
Currently, there are 7 physicians in primary care and 13 physicians in
specialty care supported by 4 mid-level providers and 175 employees.
