OSF Holy Family Medical Center is pleased to announce the addition of Leah Shimmin, certified nurse practitioner (CNP) to our team.

Leah received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Illinois. She has 37 total years of nursing experience including prior employment with Western Illinois University and Henderson County Rural Health Center.

Leah lives in Kirkwood. She has two children who are both librarians. When she is not busy working, she enjoys animals, geocaching, skiing, skating, biking and reading.
