OSF Holy Family
Campus Became Smoke Free April 1st, 2007
To
safeguard the overall health and well-being of our patients, visitors,
volunteers and employees, all OSF Holy Family facilities are now 100
percent smoke-free, beginning April 1st, 2007. Smoking is off-limits in
all buildings, parking lots, sidewalks and all other Medical Center
grounds.
We believe our smoke-free initiative promotes wellness and disease
prevention throughout OSF Holy Family and the communities we serve. OSF
Holy Family joins a growing number of healthcare systems across the
country - including Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., and Cleveland
Clinic Health System in Cleveland, Ohio - that are now smoke-free. So
after April 1st, if you need to light up, you’ll have to go elsewhere.
But we’d really like it if you decided to go smoke free yourself. Your
lungs, heart, and friends will be glad you did.
A smoke-free Medical Center. It’s just one more way OSF Holy Family is
setting the standard for health and wellness in Monmouth and the
surrounding communities.
