Introducing Russell Carlson, DPM

"I am excited to become a valuable member of the OSF Holy Family team and to give back to the community in which I grew up."

Dr. Carlson grew up right here in Monmouth, Illinois and graduated from Yorkwood High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from Drake University in Des Moines and his medical degree from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago. He completed a residency in podiatric surgery at Loyola University Medical Center and Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital, both in Chicago.

When asked what he loves about the Monmouth community, Dr. Carlson says, "I enjoy the local community for the fact that the people here genuinely care for each other and will go to any extent to help out one another. I am also excited to move close to my family and many friends who still reside in the area."

Dr. Carlson will be seeing patients Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
