Operating room Operating Room 1 OSF Holy Family Medical Center has two surgical suites with a two bay recovery room. 

In June of 2014 the surgical department was completely renovated offering new state of the art equipment, new ventilation system, and a more spacious nurse's station.

Within the department the nurses also hold the following certifications and degrees Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR), National Association of Orthopedic Nurses (NAON) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees.
